CONVENIENCE FOR PARENTS
Kids can involve their younger siblings
Actually, we didn`t plan it but our customers told us, that their kids often give younger siblings different tasks like decorating or painting and then they play together.

FAQ
How long will a kit occupy my kids?
Normally it takes 2-3 hours when you get the kit. Then there are challenging tasks that your child can do until the new kit arrives.
Will it take a lot of my time?
No, you just need to help them from time to time. For instance, when they connect the kit to the computer or download the code. You also don’t need to be a tech expert to help. We prepared a special parents’ guide to help you support and encourage them during their activities.
What’s the best age for kids to use the kits?
All the kits are intended for kids 8 – 12 years old. Kids 8-9 years old will need some assistance from adults, while older kids will be able to complete all the tasks by themselves. We prepared the coding tasks for all ages and all skill levels.
Are the kits durable?
Yes. Your child can play with our kit the whole month and complete different challenges with new coding. When you get the next kit, you just take the micro computer from the previous one and download the new code.
Will they reduce the kids’ screen time?
Yes, we see it as our goal for kids to be makers as well as users of technology. Screens are part of life now and finding ways to reduce screen time is easier said than done. However, we’ve seen that our kits can reduce screen time.
How much plastic do you use?
We use recycled cardboard everywhere we can. We have to use plastic in the electronics component and some decoration stuff. The box is also reusable and we bring it into play by using the box for DIY tasks.
Where do subscriptions ship to?
Subscription kits can be shipped anywhere in the United States, including Hawaii, Alaska, and territories.
How does the subscription work?
The date you sign up is the date that your subscription will renew. Your kits will continue to ship every month for the duration of your subscription.
What if my kids don’t like the kits?
We’re sure that they will like it! But we’ll happily give you your money back if you or your kids didn’t enjoy any of our kits. Just drop us a message at fun@oysterkit.com or Facebook within 30 days from the delivery of the kit you didn’t like. You can cancel your subscription at any time via your account. Your account is created after your first purchase.

Jim
Dad of 11-year old daughter and 8-year old son
Had I know about this a year back. I would of bought it without questioning the 400 per year. I spend more than that at Starbucks. I can suffer the terrible pain of making my own coffee for the betterment of my kids future.
Niurka
Mom of a 10-year old daughter
I gave my daughter the box. She got to work right away, was very excited to build a Robot. She told she only needed help with giving the Robot a name. I named it ROVI and went to the kitchen to cook. She also promised to clean up after herself to get to work right away. When I walked by her, she explained what she did. She is very happy to build her Rovi, she cleaned up her space and put away everything that was left over in organized bags in which it came. It took her about 2 hours to finish, I just know she did not stop until she was done.
